asus does not support windows 10 for g73jh laptops; where can i find windows 10 drivers for it?

Hi feeling actually frustrated. Sent my dead laptop to Asus repair centre and was returned with a clean bill of wellness after the hard drive was replace:
1. CD/BlueRay drive doesnt work now - they claim they checked and there were no errors at Repair Centre!!

i decided to just connect an external cd drive to create new restore disks while waiting for 2nd line back up to contact me (however waiting 2 weeks later on).
Managed to purchase Windows 10 and yesterday started the upgrade procedure.....I had to go out so left the machine going through all its Upgrade checks etc when I returned the laptop is Dead - no power at all. I have now ordered a new power supply which I'm hoping is the problem.

However if its not Power supply does anyone else know or had the same problems with their G73? I don't know what to do anymore, although I am familiar with the hardware side of things, I have never really messed with laptop hardware and am now disillusioned with Asus repair middle and their costs. Is it possible for Windows x to have caused my machine to dice or is it something else. I have only used the motorcar a few times since it came back from repair equally some of my games need Windows 10.

Well, Windows 10 is non supported on your model for starters, your G73 must be what 7 or 8 years old or older?
Are y'all able to get into the BIOS
Naught power would mean your battery is dead and your power supply is not working

Yous would probably be improve off saving your money and buying a modern notebook.
The power brick might become y'all up again for a while then once more it might not since if the socket on the computer may not be connecting the battery charger circuit could accept failed, you BIOS battery could have failed.

Trying to install windows 10 at worst you would have had major driver conflict but I don't come across any of them totally causing you lot to lose all power. While they could take locked up your notebook so that information technology would appear to take lost all power.

If you tin can't go into your BIOS its definitely a hardware trouble. Which one can be difficult to figure out. I would get-go with testing the ability output of your AC Brick. If you tin can notice an original information technology will price you a $100 or an expensive way to find out if it's just the AC brick. If yous purchasing some aftermarket brick you still won't know for sure either.

I understand what you've said and yes I practise have some other laptop but its not as powerful for gaming. Peradventure it is fourth dimension to consider a new gaming laptop instead of spending more on the G73. My thought however if its a hardware problem which has occurred within two weeks of being returned from Repair Centre, should they accept not detected a possible consequence? Its bad enough they returned it with the cd drive not reading or writing. I must say I am concerned now about the level of competency and the software provided to them by Asus to test .

In my experience, I wouldn't send them a notebook that former at that place not likely to parts for it, it's well past the stop of life. If you are going to spend more money on this notebook I would get in touch with cl-albert he actually works for Asus and he possibly tin help y'all with getting it through another RMA or talk you out of such.
Really working on these older notebooks unless you tin actually practice the work yourself is commonly not worth the stress or money.
Some other way to look at is yous have nix to lose trying to fix it yourself if you take whatever inclination or experience at all. Parts are expensive but Labor is really expensive. too as aircraft to and from. there are Videos on Youtube that evidence you lot almost if not all yous need to know. MHO

I totally agree and think its worth looking for something new or attempting prepare myself, and if the power supply change doesnt piece of work then I take nada to lose past looking at myself. Thank you lot and so much for your help and advice.
