Early on life [edit]

Haddish was born and raised in Southward Central Los Angeles, California.[8] Her father, Tsihaye Reda Haddish, who was a refugee from Eritrea, was of Ethiopian Jewish heritage.[9] [10] [xi] [12] [13] Her mother, Leola, was an African-American small business concern owner, from a Christian family.[13] [14] [15] [sixteen] Later Haddish's male parent left when she was 3 years old, her mother remarried and had Haddish's ii one-half-sisters and two half-brothers.[17]
